iDontSmoke is an iPhone application that will help you breaking the unhealthy, nasty, and costly habit of smoking cigarettes.

Quit smoking today and iDontSmoke will tell how many cigarettes you didn’t smoke, how long you lived a happy live without smoke, and how much money you saved.

Define your goals and iDontSmoke will keep track of them.
  • Want to buy something nice? Set up a money based goal and see how you get closer to buying the item using the money you saved not smoking.
  • Want to see the incredible amount of cigarettes you did not smoke? Define a cigarette based goal and see how cigarettes you not smoked pile up.
  • Care about your health? Set up a time based goal and see - for instance - how your risk of dying of a heart attack diminishes.

View_Main_Perspective
The main view of iDontSmoke offers you a whole range of motivational information.
  • Cigarettes Not Smoked. The number of cigarettes you did not smoke since you quit. You'll be suprised or even shocked about this number after a few weeks.
  • Days Without Smoking. The number of days you lived without being a tobacco-driven, of smoke reeking, nicotine-addict.
  • Money Saved. The money you saved since you quit smoking. This will sum up - before long you are going to buy yourself something nice from the money you did not waste on cigarettes.
  • Your next goal. Shows you the next goal you are going to achieve. The progress bar tells you at a glance how far you already went towards your next goal.
  • People died of smoking-related diseases. Approximately 5.4 million people die every year of smoking-related diseases. Watch how this number increases every 6.5 seconds and realize that by quitting you might be spared this fate.
  • A random smoking-related fact. Smoking is a terrible thing. Read a random fact each time you open the main view.

In the lower left-hand corner you find the cog icon. Tap it to change your settings.
In the lower right-hand corner you find the flag icon. Tap it to view your goals, edit them, or add a new goal.

Before iDontSmoke can start working properly, it needs some information from you.
Open the settings view by tapping on the cog icon in the lower left corner of the main screen.

Tap on any setting element to change it's value.
  • Date and time you quit smoking. Let's you define on what date you quit smoking.
  • Cigarettes smoked per day. Enter the number of cigarettes you smoked on an average day.
  • Cigarettes in one pack. Enter the number of cigarettes in one pack of the brand you smoked. This value is needed to calculate the money you saved.
  • Prize per pack. Enter how much one pack of cigarettes of your brand does cost.
View_Goals_Perspective
The goals view displays the goals you defined ordered by the percentage of completion.
Each item contains of an icon, a title, and a progress bar.
  • The icon indicates what the goal is based on; either time, money saved, or cigarettes not smoked.
  • The title is ... well, the title of the goal.
  • The progressbar indicates how far you are into achieving the goal.

To edit a goal simply tap on the corresponding entry.

To add a new goal tap on the + sign at the top of the view.

Editing a goal or adding a new one is really simple.
Give the goal a title of your liking.

Define what the goal is based on; either time, cigarettes not smoked, or money saved.

Enter the value needed to achieve the goal. This value represents:
  • Years, Months, and Days, for goals based on time
  • Money saved, for goals based on money
  • Number of cigarettes not smoked, for goals based on cigarettes

Once you are done with adding or editing a goal tap the 'Save' button to persist your changes or hit the 'Cancel' button if you don't want to save your changes.
